*grin* I admit to second thoughts when I included that quote. But even without that, it's still quite some foreshadowing.
It's a real pity about Ciani. Even with all that happens she's an interesting character, but with her full potential intact... she's certainly a force to be reckoned with. Can't fault Damien for his taste in women!
