On Thursday we start Book Three, "Citadel of Storms". After a side-trip to the Forest, it's time for our party of four to finally take their journey to the rakhlands.

It's finally time to meet another of the Hunter's (still) loyal henchmen and pet werewolf, the albino Amoril, who is ever so gracefully giving Damien and Senzei a tour of the Forest, complete with dangerous vegetation, (not) wyrms, undead horses and very large puppies. Fun times, I tell you. Fun times!

On Tuesday, Damien and Senzei will start their trek towards the Forest. Hopefully by then I'll catch up with the comments from the last 2 weeks, so I can accompany them.

Our other mysterious stranger is making progress on her journey - and meets a friend. Damien and Senzei still try to make heads or tails of just what happened.

On Thursday we continue with chapters 19 and 20.

Hi guys,

Just a heads up that I'll post the next chapter review tomorrow morning. Sorry about this, but today was a long day.

And here we are at the end of Book One! Our heroes complete their preparations for the road, the Patriarch is surprisingly helpful (again?!), and a new character makes her first appearance.

Before we tackle chapter 5, I just wanted to let you all know that Coldfire Trilogy meets the requirements for OTW's International Fanworks Day 2021 this year, which is celebrating "all things lesser-known".
