Karril! Karril is another person, and he's not really a bad guy either. Though Damien might not agree after that scene I wrote last night...

Hi! For the record, I am not *only* Tarrant obsessed. I like Damien a lot. However, I liked Tarrant from the outset, whereas Damien grew on me over the course of the trilogy. He's such an extraordinarily decent person. Measure yourself against him. You CAN'T (or at least I can't), because he's so damned good-natured
Karril is a good character, but I prefer Hesseth.

Oh, I like Hesseth too, but you see I read Crown of Shadows first (For some reason there were a lot of books that year involving long walks through Hell. Go figure.). I didn't get too very attached to her when I finally read the first two books because I just knew that she would die a horrible, painful death. It was kind of a relief when she just fell off a cliff:P

Well, it's not really Karril-centric after the first chapter, and saying anything more than that would be a spoiler. I hope it will be post-worthy eventually, though I might seek a beta-reader first. I appreciate the interest, Lara, and I really enjoyed your fics!
