From C.S. Friedman's official website:
The Colfire Trilogy is going to released as a graphic novel!
Published by Dabel Brothers, it will feature art by Brett Booth. (check out http://groups.msn.com/artofbrettbooth/)
Stay tuned for more details as we get them.

Hey guys *waves* I only recently stumbled across the Coldfire Trilogy and fell very much in love.  I have to say I only picked it up because I thought it would be hilariously bad, which wasn't true.  It was more hilariously slashy.  I have forced many friends including members of my college sci-fi club to impromptu dramatic readings (this works really well, pick practically any page and there is either something overly dramatic or something funny involving Gerald and Damien.)  I think my favorite thing of all is the fact that the sentiment which ends the entire trilogy is essentially, as a friend summed up, "lol, hygiene."  If the series actually became a graphic novel I think my joy would know no bounds.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand a Japanese mangaka would do it justice in the art and slashy hints department butother than that I can't see how the end result would come out.

Sounds exciting!

Same folks who make the Anita Blake graphic novels, which are quite pretty.

Huh. Well, that one's off the to-buy list. Guess I should be thankful on saving money.
