It has been kicking around in my head literally for years. I think I'm approaching a level of skill at which I could attempt it, but it's still an intimidating thought. Still, every once in a while I give it a run. Nothing has come out presentably so far, but I just have to keep at it!

The colors on that are great. I love the deep bronzes with tiny turquoise accents. The way they pop looks almost like embers...which is very appropriate. There's some great texture in there, too.

I didn't notice it till a second look, but I love the shadow of the bird's head coming out of the flames. That's a great touch.

I've been sort of collecting Coldfire fanart on DeviantART. I daresay there is too few :D I've always wanted to draw a serious Gerald, as opposed to silly chibies. So far, I've only succeeded once, and I'm still not satisfied with it XD
