Post your plot/art bunnies in the comments, we'll be able to keep track of them, and people interested will be able to write them. Fun all around!

For easy access, this has been linked to the "Victims" section.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] autumn_belias's comment (http://community.livejournal.com/hunters_forest/65275.html?thread=898299#t898299):
there will be a multitude of movies
"Damien Vryce, Bodyguard and Moral Chaperone", the detective-noir AU will be one of them, too.

This happened:
Oh god, now I'm imagining him in a fedora and trenchcoat.

...Oddly, it sort of works.

Crap. Now Tarrant's got one too. Dammit, I need less brain-bending ways of distracting myself from responsibility!

He'd totally have the collar popped, and he'd want the fedora so his eyes could be dramatically shadowed.

No, no, Gerald would be lurking in some chiaroscuro shadow. Probably with the shadow of venetian blinds across his face. Damien's off to the side, glaring daggers at his dramatic ass and looking like a complete natural with the hard-boiled detective getup (and stubble, which is secretly pissing Gerald off because it looks so untidy, but he would never stoop to saying so).

autumn_belias: I wonder if they have something like a gift-giving tradition on Erna?

[Discussion about supernatural entities with trobadora]

trobadora: But at the same time, I can't imagine them not having some sort of gift-giving tradition ... Hm.

autumn_belias: knowing Gerald and his vanity? maybe he made HIS birthday the day of giftgiving and the Church just cleverly disguised it somehow but left the date?
oh imagine Damien's stupid look if he ever gave Gerald a mock-present for the day of giftgiving and Gerald says thanks for remembering my birthday :)

Here's another one plot bunny for you to adopt.
What if Damien lived somewhere near the Forest and his mother was killed by the Hunter? How would it influence Damien's quest? And whether or not would Damien come to such understanding for Gerald?
Kinda dark AU, I know... Still, anyone?

I don't know when it was or if that was something that came up between [livejournal.com profile] alighiera and me but ah well ^^

Gerald has pointed out that the Sight is rarely inherited and that it's not exactly known how it is acquired by any individual. (me being the geeky biotype I am, have speculated that it might be a recessive trait which is what what follows makes sense.)

Gerald might have tried to 'mate' two Adepts with one another, wanting to know if the offsprings had the Sight or no. Now, but Adepts are pesky and despite Gerald unearthing every single romantic clichée from Earth and Erna, those two went to each other's throats in wrath rather than get it on.
Gerald's scientific journal from that time must be written in rather frustrated undertones.

/me will dig for the thread in which we talked about it at some point

found! could only be in the wtnf posts ^^

autumn_belias: Oh and Gerald said the Sight is rarely inherited...recessive gene after all?

alighiera: We need to interview Gerald on the evolution issue, we really do. If only to find out if he's ever tried to have two adepts procreate (which I really wouldn't put past him if he ever saw a chance.)

autumn_belias: Oh yes, Gerald creating a 'coincidence' in which two adepts meet, fall in love and have offsprings. That's it. That does sound like him, doesn't it? >>

alighiera: *g* Gerald playing adept matchmaker. Now that's an image.

autumn_belias: I'm not offering to write fic. I might keep the possibility in mind, though. Because I'm sitting here and imagine the frustration when they just won't hit it off with one another. Possibly the silent ravings.

alighiera: It would make for such great crackfic. *g*
Research diary, day 37 - subjects refuse to mate. Have provided chocolate and flowers in accordance with Earth traditions and inherent ceremonial attributes.
Research diary, day 38 - male subject ate chocolate. Female now sulking. Suspect that breeding will not be happening anytime soon.

A bunny from this thread (CoS reread, ch.37):

[livejournal.com profile] trobadora: I want an AU where the Hunter doesn't die, and gets the Forest back and nurses the poor thing back to health after what Amoril did to it.

[livejournal.com profile] autumn_belias: nurses the poor thing back to health, with what, the blood of the righteous seeping down to its roots?

YES PLEASE.

It's all [livejournal.com profile] alighiera's fault for calling the Forest Gerald's pet in the first place. :D
