I meant it to just be a little cartoon, but this really got away from me. Also it makes less sense than I was hoping, but if you like chiaroscuro, I'm apparently your go-to gal!

Tarrant does his prince of darkness routine in a convenient shadow while Damien, as usual, rocks the hard-boiled look and feels thoroughly put-upon. Secretly he hopes his stubble irritates Tarrant like burning. He'd go hop around in a filthy mud puddle if he could find one, but sadly the mean streets of Jaggonath are currently quite dry.

I always want to do more Coldfire art, actually, but I've only sporadically had time to work on anything lately. Maybe I should do something holiday-themed, though, as a Christmas gift to the comm. :)

I wonder if they have something like a gift-giving tradition on Erna? Certainly nothing like Christmas, there would be a christchild born every year...

They certainly can't have a tradition where any kind of supernatural being brings gifts - no christchild, no Santa, no easter bunny. Otherwise there would be thousands of new ones every year - and then the continent would be overrun by bunnies in no time. (At least the Christmas options aren't likely to breed ... :D)

But at the same time, I can't imagine them not having some sort of gift-giving tradition ... Hm.
