Tattoos?

I'm plotting a fic and got this wild idea of tattoos. Was there any mention of Damien having tattoos in the books?

No, there wasn't. And the description of him at the beginning of BSR seems like it would include them if they were in an immediately visible spot ...

You know, Damien could have tattoos that are only visible under certain circumstances. While using his abilities, or has a connection with the viewer of some kind, when the tattoos are covered in blood, etc. That would account for why it seemed like he didn't have any.

Every time I read a good Coldfire fic, I want to reread the series & then bemoan the ending. lol

The idea of Tarrant & Vryce actually being physically involved is alluring, if unlikely...though I'm always willing to be convinced by a good writer.

But the thought of them being able to walk away from each others' lives after having been through so much together, having changed each other so much-for better and worse-and literally having no one else in the world who could perfectly understand them. The way they fit together so well, even in the beginning when they despised each other, & they way they fit even better, at the end when they...cared. Enough for Damien to not be able to leave his mourning site, & enough for Gerald to risk his new life to show that he still lived.

all that & then they walked away, never to see each other again...? hell, no!!!

and thus, fanfic was born, lol. If only we could get more people interested in the books, and not just as a holiday fic exchange. I don't think I've ever encountered anyone outside of this small fandom who has actually read them. Yet I know they're popular enough & known.

I am not of the opinion that intimacy needs to be achieved by having sex but I can see Gerald pushing Damien's buttons by using sex as a means. The man is manipulative as they come^_^

Tarrant may want to get away from Damien in the beginning, having anyone see his weaknesses wouldn't appeal to him but he'd probably circle back to Damien later on. The allure of someone who's known him so well and proven his loyalty to him beyond a doubt would be too much for Tarrant to resist.

I don't know if the books are popular or not, they probably are if they are still in print, but I have a habit of falling for small fandoms unfortunately^^

I don't recall tattoos being mentioned, which means one of two things.

1. No tattoos.
2. They were not relevant to the plot and thus not mentioned.

This being fanfic, I'd go for option 2. :D
